First Book Signing

It went really well! I feel extremely fortunate to have such supportive friends and family, and there was a pretty good crowd of strangers as well, and I was able to talk five new folks into buying a copy, which was really fun.

There was even a mom (on behalf of her teen daughter, too shy to speak) who bought one. I hope the trigger warning didn't scare them off!

I was VERY surprised by Jake and Axsister, who drove a LONG way just to support me and say hi.

Considering that the proprietress of the establishment had expected me to sell 0-3 books, this was a resounding success, with 19 books sold! Plus a bunch of other books that shoppers I brought in purchased.

Nevertheless, I think I am the very last author who will ever sign books at that bookshop.
