March 20 Update

The big news lately is that I got my Kirkus book review in and it's pretty good! It does have a negative bit in it, but it's limited and sort of excused in the review, and I think it makes the positive parts more believable. I don't want to make it live yet, until I have all my versions (paperback & eBook with Amazon, paperback & jacketed hardback through IngramSpark for everywhere else) available for preorder. But soon!

In the meantime, I'm learning about excerpting guidelines. I think I already knew them, but crafting an excerpt that is optimized for interest-piquing without having eleventy ellipses all over it is more of a challenge than I realized.

I also ordered my axe to be custom-made. If it's cool, I'll let everyone know where they can buy their own copy. Buyer beware: It may or may not catch on fire when hunting demons.
